How can you help?

Volunteers - Volunteer or recruit volunteers to provide compassionate care through friendly visits, yard work, in-county transportation for medical or basic needs, light meal preparation, housekeeping, and other services. Caring Carroll will train volunteers and provide support and liability insurance.
Referrals - Refer adults of any age who are chronically ill, disabled, or frail older adults who need support.
Network - To efficiently match seniors with needed services, volunteers, and other forms of support, Caring Carroll would like to build a strong network of congregations and community groups across the county. This network would provide Caring Carroll with a contact person from participating group, who could be called if a need arose near them, to see if a volunteer or service was available in that area. If you are part of such a congregation or group and would like to participate, please contact us.
Group Activities – As Caring Carroll grows, we hope to match more seniors with congregation and community groups who could spend a few hours doing a one-time chore such as raking leaves, cleaning house, or helping with a move.
Donations - Financial contributions of any size will help to cover the cost of materials for home repairs, one-time services to seniors in need, and our minimal operating costs (we have only one, part-time staff member).
Covenant members – Caring Carroll’s covenant partners, churches and service organizations pledge $1000 per year (money and/or in-kind services) to support the mission of Caring Carroll. They are also eligible to send a representative to Caring Carroll’s monthly board meeting to help make decisions that determine our course of action.
