What is
Caring Carroll?

Caring Carroll is a faith-based, non-profit organization that assists older and disabled adults in Carroll County who wish to remain living independently but need help to do so. Often their only alternative would be to go into a nursing home.
Our volunteers offer services such as light housekeeping and meal preparation, errands and grocery shopping, transportation within the county, yard work, minor home repairs, and friendly visits. Caring Carroll “matches” volunteers and care recipients so that both have a good experience. We also provide training, support, and liability insurance for our volunteers.
Since 2005, we have served over 175 elderly and disabled residents of Carroll County. We currently have over 50 ongoing volunteer-care receiver matches, and several clients on our waiting list. We would like to serve many more individuals – and with your help, we can!
